Dr. Vallikavu Mohandas
Born at Vallikkavu,Kollam district. Completed his school education at Govt.U P School, Kulasekharapuram and SVHSS Clappana. Attained degree from DB College, Sasthamcotta. Studied History and Journalism at S.V University and kerala University and gained Doctorate in History of Journalism from Madras University. Has served as State President and General Secretary of Yuvakalasahithi. He is the State General Secretary and National Secretary of Progressive Writers Association currently. He is the Director of Prabhath Book House; Secretary of Thoppil Bhasi Foundation; Director of Manalil G.Narayana Pillai Foundation; and also a member of K.P.A.C Executive Commitee. Has served as Governing body member of Kerala State Cultural Publication Department, Editorial Board Member, Literacy Board Member, Member of Governing body in State Language Institute. Editor in Prabhath Book House currently. Has received Prachoda Award, Karmachandra Award, Media Award, Abudabi Sakthi Award, Theerabhoomi Madhyama Award, Sahithya Kerala Award, Dyuthi Award.
